Job Description
We are looking to hire incredible Data Analysts with 0-4+ years of experience who are interested in working with a US based start-up. If you are truly passionate about designing dashboards, working with different databases and can effectively communicate with clients, then this is the position for you. Requirements
• Bachelors or Masters in Statistics/Math, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or related quantitative fields (master's candidates encouraged to apply)
• Data Engineering experience/coursework and ability to integrate multiple data sources
• Has in depth working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and a solid foundation in MS-Excel
• Experience using data visualisation tools such Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Preferably has some proficiency in Python - Data Science stack
• Preferably has some experience using ML libraries, such as Scikit-learn, caret, NLTK or spark MLlib
• Preferably can build basic statistical and ML models to evaluate the historical performance and define predictive and prescriptive solutions
• Comfortable with UNIX Operating System
• Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Ability to effectively communicate insights to customers
What You’ll Do, But Not Limited To:
• Under the general direction of senior Data scientists, conduct empirical research using public and proprietary data
• Data gathering, data cleaning, building data models, and maintaining datasets
• Complete data preparation, data testing using Python (ETL), data wrangling and EDA
• Develop dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision making
• Utilize statistical techniques to help develop analytical insights, sound hypotheses, and informed recommendations
• Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses, modelling, or programming using Python and SQL
• Work at client site and develop long term relationships
